Smythe Contractors Ltd  was formed as a Limited Liability company in 2000,   Our projects include numerous pipe installations from 50 to 900mm in diameter, up to 600m long by Directional Drilling, and 1.0 to 2.1m diameter by Pipe Jacking method.

Our American Augers DD440T is a 200 tonne pullback machine, and is capable of installing 1.0m diameter for 1.0km.  Prior to this amazing machine, distances of this nature were unheard of in New Zealand!
